"access is denied" when trying to initialize the TPM security hardware
I'm trying to enable bitlocker on win7 32bit. It said I need to initalize my TPM, the PC rebooted, I got a black screen that said I need to press F10 to allow the change. I did that. Booted back into windows. Went back to control panel system & security
and enable bitlocker drive encryption. It has at the top
"Initializing the TPM security hardware
please wait while Bitlocker initalizes the TPM security hardware. This might take a few minutes.
Access is denied."
The progress bar never moves. I've checked the TPM is turned on in the BIOS. Any ideas ?

Check this blog post to see if it resolves the problem, otherwise please submit a screenshot of "tpm.msc"

I had problems enabling bitlocker. I followed these steps:
1)
http://code.msdn.microsoft.com/bdedeploy/Release/ProjectReleases.aspx?ReleaseId=3205
2) Download the EnableBitLocker.vbs script
3) Open command prompt as an Admin
4) Run EnableBitLocker.vbs script to show a prompt w/ all options. I ran EnableBitLocker /on:tpm /l:c:\bitlocker.log /promptuser
